Animals have enriched my life since early childhood, filling my life with a love and companionship that only an animal can offer. Rex came into my life at a very challenging time for me and he quickly began to open doors to a new understanding of life I had only seem in brief glimpses over the years.
As friends and clients of mine learned of Rex’s unique story they encouraged me to write a book. He had taught me so much and I knew in my heart his story could help others in so many ways.
This book is Rex’s gift to the world for others to understand the important lessons animals are here to teach the humans in their lives. I was the student, the companion and the transcriber of Rex’s story.
